Bird Seed & Food

We only use top quality seeds our main supplier being Johnson and Jeff. All seeds are sold packaged from 1kg to 20kg and with our big car park at the rear of the premises, getting your sacks to the car is no problem. From wild bird seed to mynha bird food we are sure to have what you want including colour feeds and egg food.

Palm Nuts

Palm nuts are the natural diet of African greys they are high in vitamin A, they are very good for other parrots as well. 2 nuts per day are ample and encourages the birds natural behviour.

It is actually the yellow flesh around the nut that is important although larger parrots such as macaws can crack the nut as well. There is no better food you could feed to your parrots than what they eat in the wild.

Palm nuts are good for all parrots particularly breeding birds. As some birds tend to be fussy eaters it is best to start with just 250g to try them out.

On arrival put the palm nuts into a deep freeze. They should be thawed over night and washed before use. Feed a pair of African Greys 4 nuts per day.
